Use the mirror and hunt around for the adjusting bolt/screw on the back of the housing. Turn clockwise/ counterclockwise to get the pattern you are looking for. I turned on the lights against the back of the garage, marked the center of the offending beam on the wall then adjusted up or down as needed.

I checked the shop manual and here what it said for the K20Z2 engine Engine idle (K20Z2) Idle speed without load: M/T (in neutral) 700 +/- 50 rpm A/T (in N or P) 800 +/- 50 rpm Idle speed with high electrical load (A/C switch ON, temperature set to max cool, blower fan on High, rear window defogger ON, and headlights on high beam)
Mikey6p. You can use a long phillips, but its not actually a screw, its a gear more or less. Which can also be rotated by a 10mm socket on the back side. Personally, I find it much easier to use a 10mm. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
